Role Overview


A highly skilled Speech Pathologist is required to join our Central Western Victoria team. The successful candidate will focus on supporting our clients living in Ballarat and surrounding locations by managing a caseload and providing evidence-based therapeutic supports in a timely manner.



About the Role


The ideal candidate will have a positive, can-do approach and mindset, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and their support networks to make a real and lasting difference. They will strive for continuous improvement of our practices and outcomes, maintaining consistent and regular contact with all stakeholders.



Key Responsibilities



  • Delivering much-needed speech pathology services to clients within schools, homes, and the broader community.
  • Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each client.
  • Assessing clients' communication and/or swallowing level of function and capacity using clinical observations and standardised assessments.
  • Recommending provision of Assistive Technology to assist clients with their functional limitations and to promote independence.


Requirements



  • Degree-qualified Speech Pathologist with current certified practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
  • Current driver's license and own reliable vehicle.
