About the Role

The Mental Health Psychology Discipline Lead is a peer-recognised expert in their chosen field. You will work collaboratively to deliver excellence in consumer care, providing professional expertise and advice internal and external to Grampians Health on key issues of a psychological nature.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional expertise and advice to Grampians Health leadership on psychological issues.
  • Oversee professional governance and credentialing of psychologists in Grampians Health.
  • Participate in the Capability Framework working group to redesign clinical services for all disciplines.
  • Develop psychology and allied health programs in collaboration with other Allied Health Discipline leads and leadership.
  • Mentor and provide clinical supervision to the Senior Psychology team.
  • Coordinate quality projects and initiatives related to psychological practice within Grampians Health.

Skills & Experience

  • Registered as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
  • Minimum Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology or Forensic Psychology, with area of Practice Endorsement.
  • Substantial clinical experience as a Psychologist with relevant clinical and leadership skills.
  • Current board-approved supervisor through PBA.
  • Current driver's licence.
