Procurement Category Manager

We are seeking a seasoned procurement expert to lead the sourcing of goods and services that meet business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic plans for indirect procurement spend, encompassing G&A and IT categories
  • Manage end-to-end sourcing process, including vendor selection, contract negotiations, and compliance with procurement policies and systems
Key Requirements:
  • Analyse spend data to identify opportunities for benchmarking, vendor rationalisation, and cost savings
  • Lead vendor selection through structured comparison, bidding, and tender processes
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring commercial terms align with company standards
Favourite Skills and Experience:
  • 4 years' experience in category sourcing, preferably in indirect procurement; retail industry background is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing and Procure-to-Pay (P2 P) processes, with experience using SAP and e-sourcing tools
