Job Summary

The Executive Director of Luxury Hospitality will serve as the primary strategic business leader of a high-end property, overseeing all aspects of its operation. This includes guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, sales, and revenue generation, ensuring a return on investment for Marriott International and property ownership.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel management, with at least 10 years of progressive experience in the industry. Prior general manager experience in similar-sized hotels is preferred. The successful individual will possess excellent food and beverage, event management, rooms operations, revenue management, human resources, and quality assurance skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business plans to maximize property customer satisfaction, profitability, and market share.
  • Lead the property leadership team, holding them accountable for strategy execution and guiding their professional development.
  • Foster strong relationships with local officials, businesses, and customers, promoting the property's brand and enhancing its reputation.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering results in adverse conditions and leveraging centralized organizational resources.
  • Evaluate business trends and risks, developing new business programs and strategies to enhance multi-unit business performance while mitigating concerns.
  • Build and maintain positive owner relationships, providing proactive communication and setting clear expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning.
  • Experience with talent management, manpower decisions, and labor relations.

Salary Estimate: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
