Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bartender (Part-time) to join our team at The Tasman, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Hobart. As a key member of our F&B team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, and beer to our discerning guests
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our beverage menu and make recommendations to guests
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere in our bars and restaurants
  • Work collaboratively with our team to deliver seamless service and exceed guest expectations
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in luxury hotels or cocktail bars
  • A genuine passion for one-of-a-kind food and beverage products
  • Ability to gauge customers' preferences and deliver a unique drinking experience
  • Strong work ethic and exceptional customer service skills
  • Immaculate personal presentation standards and excellent attention to detail
  • Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
  • Wine and Spirit Education Trust or Court of Master Sommeliers certificate (desirable)
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Willingness to be flexible and work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
