**Job Title:** Re-Conditioning Manager

Experienced Automotive Professionals Wanted

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the reconditioning process for our used vehicles. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive service, reconditioning, or fixed operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement efficient workflows to ensure timely and cost-effective reconditioning.
  • Work closely with technicians, detailers, and vendors to deliver high-quality repairs and detailing.
  • Maintain a reconditioning pipeline prioritizing based on sales demand.
  • Ensure vehicles meet quality standards before sale.
  • Coordinate with sales and inventory teams for vehicle availability.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with third-party vendors.
  • Monitor costs and adhere to budgets without compromising quality.
  • Review and approve repair orders for necessity and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings without sacrificing quality or safety.
  • Conduct final inspections to meet dealership expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and manufacturer standards.
  • Maintain documentation of all reconditioning work.
  • Address quality concerns before vehicles are placed at site.
  • Supervise and lead technicians, detailers, and other staff members.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members.
  • Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive work environment encouraging teamwork.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) like cycle time, costs, and inventory readiness.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automotive service, reconditioning, or fixed operations.
  • Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of vehicle repairs, bodywork, detailing, and reconditioning processes.
  • Ability to multitask and manage timelines effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with dealership management software and inventory tools.
  • Automotive credentials such as ASE Certification.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to undergo a Police Clearance.
