Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Hotel Operations Manager to oversee our hotel's maintenance activities. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who can lead a team and ensure the hotel's facilities, equipment, and infrastructure are well-maintained.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a maintenance management or supervisory role, preferably in the hotel, hospitality, or facilities management industry. They will also possess strong technical knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance best practices.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance strategies to ensure the hotel's assets are operating at peak performance. You will also manage a team of maintenance technicians and tradespeople, ensuring they are properly trained, equipped, and motivated to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies to ensure the hotel's facilities, equipment, and infrastructure are well-maintained and operating at peak performance.
  • Manage a team of maintenance technicians and tradespeople, ensuring they are properly trained, equipped, and motivated to deliver exceptional service.
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive and reactive maintenance activities to minimize disruptions and maximize asset uptime.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience (2+ years) in a maintenance management or supervisory role, preferably in the hotel, hospitality, or facilities management industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of building systems, equipment, and maintenance best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
