Product Development Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented team player to coordinate the sampling approval process, manage product CADs and range books, and liaise with suppliers.
As a Product Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting the Product Manager in the development of new ranges, maintaining effective relationships with suppliers, and conducting trend research into colour and new trend direction for our customer.
You will also be responsible for tracking the sample process, critical path, production schedules, and freight timelines. Additionally, you will draw and maintain product CADs and range books, and support the product team with administrative needs.
- Assist in the sampling approval process.
- Liaise daily with offshore suppliers and factories.
- Brief new ranges to suppliers for development.
- Maintain effective relationships and regular communication with suppliers.
- Conduct trend research into colour and new trend direction.
- Manage and track the sample process.
- Draw and maintain product CADs and range books.
- Support the product team with administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably as an Assistant Buyer, Product Coordinator, Production Assistant or Supply Coordinator. A qualification in Fashion and Textile is advantageous, along with being proactive, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key skills include attention to detail, high productivity, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work closely within a collaborative environment.
