Your Opportunity:

This exciting role offers the perfect blend of customer service and technical expertise. You will work closely with our internal teams and external stakeholders to provide information and advice to customers on various aspects of electricity supply, including new connections and supply upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance to customers on approximate costs associated with installing and relocating assets, processing application forms, and preparing Network Connection Contracts.
  • Investigate customer inquiries, negotiate initial supply arrangements, and collaborate with relevant officers and work groups.
  • Proactively manage escalated customer complaints/issues and consult with customers to ensure quality resolution.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification (essential).
  • A Queensland Electrical Licence as an Electrical Fitter/Mechanic or Electrical Linesperson/Jointer (desirable).
  • Technical knowledge of activities related to electricity distribution authority operations, including design, construction, maintenance, and operation of underground and overhead mains and associated equipment.
  • Australian or New Zealand citizenship or an Australian permanent residency.

  • A competitive salary package from $128,919 per annum + 14.75% superannuation for a 9-day fortnight and from $148,901 per annum + 14.75% superannuation for a 10-day fortnight.
