Due to the solid strategic growth of the company, they require an experienced leader to navigate the business through a crucial phase in their business plan and ongoing expansion. You will focus on driving business improvement by reviewing costings and outcomes, seeking new markets, overseeing key projects, identifying areas for margin improvement, and leading a dynamic team of over 60 professionals. There is a genuine opportunity to make your mark in this leadership role.

Some of the key qualities we require for this individual are:

  • This is an organisation that has a strong commitment to quality and compliance of their products. Therefore, the ideal candidate will come from a technically based industry with prior experience in LEAN manufacturing, highly regarded.
  • The manufacturing aspect of the company will benefit from your experience in food production in an ISO compliant environment.
  • Your prior senior leadership experience, in businesses over $15 million in turnover, will bring valuable insight to the leadership group.
  • Your financial acumen will befit your experience in running a business of this size.
  • People management will play a large part in your success, with teams based in different sites and diverse skill sets across production, sales, administration, operations, quality, and safety.
  • This organisation exports a significant portion of its product list, hence managing relationships with clients, in conjunction with the sales leaders, will be a key aspect of the role.
  • Due to the multi-site nature of this organisation and international stakeholder involvement, there will be reasonable domestic and international travel involved.
  • The Board of Directors are excited by the year ahead and your experience in writing and delivering a strategic growth plan to expand into new markets will be highly valued.
