About the Role

This critical position involves driving relationships with senior leaders, providing financial and commercial guidance, and overseeing performance monitoring, benefits realisation management, and governance excellence. The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing organisational performance, pushing for world-class standards, and boosting overall results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Crafting and implementing a high-performing performance and governance framework
  • Providing expert financial advice and insights to drive business growth
  • Elevating the finance business partner function through strategic insights
  • Overseeing procurement to achieve commercial success
  • Monitoring performance scorecards and delivering exceptional results
  • Offering game-changing insights on strategic initiatives to the Exec Committee and Board
  • Managing the strategic planning and budget process to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensuring seamless alignment between initiatives and overarching goals
  • Overseeing benefit realisation and integrating it into economic strategy
  • Fostering strategic alliances to unlock market opportunities and execute business strategy
  • Staying ahead of market trends and policies to maintain industry leadership
  • Cultivating a vibrant, collaborative culture that drives engagement and aligns with strategic objectives
  • Developing and executing risk strategies aligned with regulatory requirements

This permanent opportunity is based in Brisbane, with consideration given to candidates from Sydney.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record in strategic frameworks, engagement, or delivery roles. They will also hold a tertiary degree or equivalent experience in managing capital and reserves.

We are looking for an individual who is politically and commercially savvy, has a deep understanding of regulatory environments and compliance frameworks, and can build trust and confidence at executive and board levels. Strong analytical and financial skills, along with experience in fostering positive organisational cultures and creating high-performing teams, are essential.
