Job Title: First Nations Community Coordinator

This role involves working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander families in Sydney, focusing on building strong relationships, undertaking observations, and supporting families to establish goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish respectful connections with First Nations families and ensure their voices are heard and valued.
  • Conduct observations of children in their natural environment to assess their functioning and support needs.
  • Support families to establish meaningful goals and track their progression towards achieving these goals.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of child protection principles and Keep Them Safe protocols.
  • Valid Driver's Licence (P1 minimum).
  • WWCC & NDIS Worker Screening Check.
