About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Operational Resilience to join our team at Bank of Queensland. As a key member of our operational risk and assurance function, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our operational resilience framework.

Our operational resilience framework is designed to ensure that we can withstand and quickly recover from operational disruptions, including those unique to the Australian financial market. As the Head of Operational Resilience, you will work closely with our General Manager Operational Risk and Assurance to implement this framework and ensure that our critical operations and business processes are aligned with regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure that our critical operations operate within set tolerances and develop a systematic plan to test and learn from plausible scenarios. Your ability to adapt global best practices to our local context, coupled with your strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, will be essential in this role.

We are looking for a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of operational resilience and risk management. You will have a proven track record of collaborating with business stakeholders to develop and implement effective resilience strategies. Your excellent analytical skills will enable you to identify potential risks and develop robust mitigation plans.
