Strategic Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans related to mergers and acquisitions.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial forecasting, modelling, and evaluation of potential merger targets. They will work closely with senior management to discuss opportunities and prepare detailed proposals for consideration by the board.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing comprehensive projections and reports regarding considered mergers and acquisitions
- Performing financial analysis and modelling to support business decisions
- Discussing M&A opportunities with Senior Management and preparing proposals for the board
- Organising and conducting due diligence in collaboration with Senior Management and external consultants
- Coordinating key stakeholders and ensuring effective communication throughout the process
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as accounting or finance
- Solid experience in accounting, due diligence, or financial analysis, with strong business acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed organisational, planning, time management, and administrative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
