Job Overview

The Strategic ICT Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for planning and managing end-to-end ICT acquisition processes to ensure effective representation and management of client business needs. This includes preparing tender documentation, collaborating with stakeholders, and negotiating contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex end-to-end ICT procurement and tender processes
  • Prepare tender documentation, including statements of requirements and contract statements of works
  • Collaborate with and influence business and IT stakeholders to manage expectations and reach agreement
  • Negotiate ICT contracts
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and policies

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in managing complex ICT procurement and tender processes
  • Experience working in a government or similar regulatory environment
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with attention to detail
  • Organisational ability, including managing priorities within tight deadlines
  • Politically neutral with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners
  • Satisfactory background check result
