We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Busy Bees Australia Employer Pty Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can utilize your expertise to create nutritious meals for young children.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and preparing healthy, balanced meals that cater to the diverse needs of children. You will work closely with our early childhood educators to ensure that mealtimes are enjoyable and educational experiences for the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create menus that adhere to dietary guidelines and cater to the needs of children with allergies and intolerances.
  • Prepare meals that reflect various cultures and traditions, making food an educational experience for the children.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Work within budgetary constraints when ordering food and supplies.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent culinary qualifications.
  • Experience in a similar role, particularly in an early childhood setting.
  • A current and valid Working With Children Check.
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
  • Valid Australian Work Rights.
