About the Position:
SA Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Practitioner to join our dynamic team within the Critical Care Division. This exciting opportunity offers a unique chance to enhance your expertise in Emergency Ultrasound Special Skills Rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Achieve proficiency in the core ACEM modules, including EFAST, AAA, FELS, lung, and procedural needle guidance.
* Expose trainees to extended applications and uses of ultrasound in Emergency Medicine, including full abdomen, DVT, vascular, MSK, soft tissue, nerve, and regional blocks.
* Involve trainees in quality improvement processes and education, with a requirement to complete a project in this regard.
* Learn about managerial aspects of running an ultrasound program and proficiency in Information Technology is desirable but not essential.
