About Our Client:

Our client is a leading financial services organization based in Sydney, dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions and services to their customers. As they continue to grow, they are seeking talented Senior Network Automation Engineers to join their dynamic team.

Role Overview:

They are looking for individuals with strong network automation skills, preferably with a background in Ansible and Python, to help automate and streamline their network operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage network automation solutions using Ansible and Python.
  • Strong experience across firewalls and F5 load balancers.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks to enhance network efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and requirements.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot automated processes to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members on automation best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve our automation capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Network Automation Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Ansible and Python.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols, infrastructure, and technologies.
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Puppet, Chef, etc.).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines).
  • Certification in networking (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) or related fields.
