A leading Financial Services organization is in search of a Senior Network Automation Engineer who possesses exceptional Python scripting capabilities along with extensive expertise in F5 load-balancers.
As a pivotal member of a dynamic and high-achieving team, you will spearhead the network automation initiatives specifically focused on their array of F5 devices. Utilizing Python, you will develop playbooks and facilitate the automation of extensive network adjustments. Your responsibilities will encompass directing automation projects and configuring their orchestration platform, which includes tools such as Terraform and Jenkins.
Key qualifications for this role include:
- Relevant tertiary education and/or industry-recognized certifications
- Demonstrated experience in network automation within large-scale enterprise settings
- Proficient Python scripting abilities
- In-depth knowledge and experience in the support, configuration, and deployment of F5 devices
- Experience in designing and architecting automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket, as well as Cisco automation tools like DevNet
- Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and tools, including Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication capabilities
- Effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work autonomously when necessary
