Financial Director

Calvary Mater Newcastle is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their team. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing the finance function and supporting the provision of quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage the accounting and audit function, including the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Provide financial guidance and support to the Director of Finance and Corporate Services.
- Ensure compliance with taxation requirements and manage the company's tax obligations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing a high-performing team.
- Strong financial and budget management skills, including experience with financial planning and analysis.
- Highly developed organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex financial issues.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is highly regarded.
