About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and highly skilled Development Assessment Planner to join our collaborative team environment. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assessing development applications (DAs), coordinating Council reports for planning panels, and evaluating and reporting on fast track DAs.

  • Coordinating Council reports to planning panels to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Evaluating and reporting on fast track DAs to inform decision-making processes.
  • Conducting duty planning and site inspections to gather essential data.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Urban/Town Planning or a related field.
  • Strong ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • An understanding of NSW Planning Legislation/controls to inform your assessments.
  • Previous experience working for Local Council is highly desirable.

Salary Estimate
