About the Company

Ivory Group, a reputable Local Council, is seeking an ambitious Development Assessment Planner to join their collaborative team environment. As part of this team, you will play a key role in making meaningful contributions to community development.

About the Position

This Development Assessment Planner will report to the Senior Coordinator and be responsible for assessing development applications (DAs), coordinating Council reports for planning panels, and evaluating and reporting on fast-track DAs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Council reports to planning panels
  • Assess and report on fast-track DAs
  • Conduct duty planning and site inspections
  • Liaise with internal and external customers

Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Urban/Town Planning or related field
  • Strong ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • Understanding of NSW Planning Legislation/controls
  • Previous experience working for Local Council preferred
