Job Title: Water Quality Analyst

Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Water Quality Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing samples from various environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze water samples from different sources
  • Operate complex scientific equipment in field and laboratory settings
  • Maintain and troubleshoot field instruments
  • Interpret quality control data and results
  • Demonstrate understanding of quality systems and requirements
  • Provide guidance on quality and safety
  • Work cooperatively with team members to meet customer requirements
  • Identify opportunities to optimize assets and processes
  • Solve problems and troubleshoot issues in the field
  • Comply with NATA accreditation requirements
  • Work safely and report hazards and incidents

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Environmental Science or a related discipline
  • Experience working independently under quality accredited conditions
  • A current driver's license without restrictions
  • Awareness of safety requirements and personal responsibility for safety
  • Ability to carry out investigations and operate, maintain, and troubleshoot field and/or laboratory equipment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance requirements
  • Knowledge of chemical processes in water environments
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Fitness to safely perform the requirements of the role
