High-level pavement engineer sought for a pivotal role within our organisation.
About the RoleWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pavement Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will play a critical part in the delivery of major transport infrastructure projects across Australia and New Zealand.
Your primary focus will be on leading the design and delivery of pavement projects, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and practices. This will involve mentoring and managing a team of engineers to develop their skills and expertise, as well as collaborating with public and private sector clients to deliver projects that meet their needs.
You will also be responsible for developing and implementing effective project management strategies, encompassing administrative, commercial, and technical aspects. Additionally, you will coordinate, design, and deliver pavement projects within multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and delivery of pavement projects, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and practices
- Mentor and manage a team of engineers to develop their skills and expertise
- Collaborate with public and private sector clients to deliver projects that meet their needs
- Develop and implement effective project management strategies, encompassing administrative, commercial, and technical aspects
- Coordinate, design, and deliver pavement projects within multi-disciplinary engineering projects
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong technical knowledge of pavement engineering principles and practices, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. You should have experience working on complex infrastructure projects and be familiar with Australian standards and practices.
A postgraduate qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field is highly desirable. You will also need to be an effective team player with a proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
