Job Title: Field Service Technician

This role involves hands-on work where you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of data centre equipment. As a Field Service Technician, you will work closely with customers to ensure their critical applications run continuously, perform optimally and scale with business needs.

About the Job:
  • Data Centre Equipment Installation and Repair: Install, maintain and repair data centre equipment including UPS systems, batteries and cooling systems.
  • Excellent Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Timely Work Completion: Work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
  • Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports and expense claims.
Requirements:
  • A trade certificate in electrical/electronics (ideally)
  • A relevant state-based electrical licence (A Grade License)
  • Commercial awareness
  • Technical knowledge in data centres, telecom, commercial & industrial or similar industries
  • A proven track record within the power industry as a service technician
