Facility Overview

This 300-bed tertiary facility provides acute care services and treats over 24,000 inpatients and 225,000 outpatients annually. The Emergency Department offers 24/7 emergency medical care, with specialist physicians on duty weekdays and most weekends.

Palliative Care Team Approach

The team uses a collaborative approach to address patient needs, working with health professionals across various settings to enhance care. This includes palliative care medical specialists, nurses, social workers, pastoral care, and volunteers.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or be eligible for it through training in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States, or Canada.

Estimated Salary: AU$180,000 - AU$220,000 per annum
