About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our Global System Integrator (GSI) partnerships in the APAC region. As the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, you will be responsible for establishing and executing a comprehensive strategy to drive growth and success in this critical market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute GSI Strategy: Create and implement a strategic plan to further develop the GSI program and key partnerships across APAC, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Build and Nurture Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with GSI partners, account managers, and internal stakeholders to drive collaboration and achieve sales goals.
  • Represent the Company: Serve as a spokesperson and subject matter expert for the company, representing our interests and value proposition at trade events and industry conferences.
  • Resolve Conflicts and Escalations: Provide guidance and support to resolve field conflicts and escalate issues as needed, leveraging a network of key contacts within both companies.
  • Drive Partnership Performance: Analyze and communicate partnership performance metrics, including financial performance, agreed-upon metrics, and related insights to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with In-Country Teams: Work closely with in-country sales teams to guide collaboration and engagements with global SI teams, ensuring seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Meet Sales Objectives: Achieve sales objectives set for the GSI ecosystem, driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence.
Requirements
  • 10+ Years of Sales or Business Development Experience: Proven track record of success in sales or business development, with a strong understanding of the APAC market and GSI partnerships.
  • 5+ Years of Senior-Level Partner or GSI Sales Experience: Demonstrated expertise in serving in senior-level partner or GSI sales roles, with a deep understanding of channel sales management and global alliance partnerships.
  • Forecast Management and Strategic Planning: Excellent forecast management skills, with experience managing an accurate forecast in a regional capacity, and demonstrated capability in strategic planning and implementation of partner programs.
  • Channel Sales Management and Leadership: Proven experience in channel sales management, including managing global alliance partners, ideally GSIs, and demonstrated leadership capabilities in a cross-functional environment.
  • Knowledge of Databricks Partner Program: Extensive knowledge of the Databricks partner program and ecosystem, with a deep understanding of our products and services.
