Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Grade 3 Physiotherapist to join our team at Box Hill Hospital in Eastern Health.

This dynamic role offers the opportunity to lead and innovate clinical practice and service delivery in physiotherapy services within the emergency department and across general medical services.

About You:

  • You have a recognised tertiary qualification in physiotherapy and current registration with the Australian Physiotherapy Board.
  • You possess relevant post-graduate qualifications or are currently undertaking them.
  • You have extensive clinical experience, particularly in emergency and general medicine settings.
  • You have excellent leadership skills, including staff supervision, professional development, and clinical education.
  • You are passionate about delivering innovative practice and have a strong commitment to community health.
  • You are an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and can work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • You are committed to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in your field.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the acute general medicine physiotherapy service, which includes managing Grade 1 and 2 Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, and Physiotherapy students.

You will engage in clinical research, project work, and professional development opportunities, working closely with Clinical Grade 4 Physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.
