Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Neuron Mobility Full time
Job Title: Workshop Supervisor

At Neuron Mobility, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading our workshop and warehouse team, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our e-scooter and e-bike maintenance and repair processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute Neuron's Workshop Management strategy in Sydney, ensuring the highest quality control and maintenance standards.
  • Lead the workshop team in performing quality control and basic maintenance on e-scooters and e-bikes, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and Workplace Health & Safety Procedures.
  • Manage the inventory control and stocktake procedures for the Sydney warehouse, utilizing inventory management systems such as Netsuite.
  • Train new e-scooter and e-bikes mechanics and conduct regular refresher training, ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Perform hands-on assembly, repair, and maintenance of e-scooters and e-bikes, ensuring our high-quality control measures are met at all times.
  • Support Neuron's operations in Sydney as needed, including driving a service vehicle and supporting the ground operations team.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in warehouse/workshop operations, particularly in the mobility, transit, or supply-chain space.
  • Ability to service and repair e-scooters and e-bikes, including comfort with lifting, carrying, and maneuvering 25-35 kg as needed.
  • A hands-on approach to leadership, with experience defining best practice warehouse procedures, especially inventory management.
  • Flexible work schedule with the ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed, especially during new location launch periods.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multi-task and keep up with a dynamic, fast-paced startup in a high-growth phase with rapid changes.
Our Values:

We strive to deliver results with the highest impact and are committed to following through. We continuously optimise through collaboration to achieve the best collective outcomes.

We seize the initiative and are always looking for continual improvement, for ourselves, our team, and the cities we serve. We relish the chance for action even if it leads us outside of our normal scope.

Our decisions are evidence-based. We assess situations fairly, wherever possible using reason and logic rather than unverified opinions.

We ask questions, challenge assumptions, learn from mistakes, and are ready to leave behind what we thought we knew.

We understand that both time and resources are finite. We balance our priorities and think strategically about how we can maximise our impact and the return on investment.
