About the Role:

As a Senior Data Centre Infrastructure Specialist, you'll be part of a team working on critical projects and collaborate with technology teams to ensure seamless operation of our data centre environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and action incoming and open tickets, prioritizing work based on ticket severity
  • Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all production server hardware and software
  • Provide escalated second-level technical support for complex issues, including leading problem management cases and providing management updates
  • Communicate confidently and clearly with all stakeholders
  • Maintain strong adherence to processes and act as a process champion
  • Understand internal customer problems and deliver timely technical solutions
  • Work on a rotating shift basis, including on-call

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a data centre environment
  • Background in Linux
  • Knowledge of data centre ecosystem (cooling, electrical, networking, and structured cabling)
