About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Funding Manager/Coach to join our team at YMCA Victoria. As a key member of our Early Learning team, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of our School Readiness Funding (SRF) program across our Victorian centre-based teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Manage the administrative tasks of scheduling, tracking, and monitoring SRF spend to ensure effective program delivery.
  • Coaching and Support: Provide coaching support for early childhood educators and teachers to implement practice change through observations, feedback, goal setting, and reflections.
  • Network Coordination: Coordinate SRF support across the network and identify opportunities for sharing learning to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Program Alignment: Ensure that the program is individualized to the educator's needs, and aligned with educators' characteristics, skills, and contexts.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience working with kindergarten programs, particularly extensive teaching experience and knowledge of the SRF Priority Areas (Communication, Wellbeing, and Access and Inclusion).
  • Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, VIT registration, and current and valid Victorian Driver's Licence.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning & Development Framework and the National Quality Framework, with particular reference to national quality standards areas 1 and 5.

  • Competitive Remuneration: The remuneration for this role is up to $125,000 plus super, dependent on experience.
