Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payment of wages and salaries to employees.

  • Process monthly payroll for a large number of employees.
  • Reconcile and process month-end journals, ensuring accurate and timely calculation and payment of payroll liabilities.
  • Complete end-of-year payroll reconciliations for tax and other obligations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Calculate and process termination and severance payments as required.
  • Provide support to employees on payroll-related queries, including pay issues and personal detail updates.
  • Stay up-to-date with legislative changes relating to tax, superannuation, and employment law.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Netsuite.
  • Experience in a hands-on role with high levels of attention to detail.
