Due to a recent internal promotion, we have an opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join our team on a permanent full time basis.

In the role of Payroll Specialist, you will report to the Payroll Services Manager and be responsible for delivering a range of quality payroll services including fortnightly payroll processing, issue resolution, responding to a variety of employee pay queries and you will ensure that all salary and other allowance payments are made consistent with the appropriate Industrial Instrument (e.g. Employment Agreements and Awards).

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role processing payroll for 500+ employees - Essential
- Strong knowledge of contemporary payroll processing practices & standards
- Knowledge of relevant legislative requirements applicable to payroll processing & payments
- Demonstrated experience using Chris21 payroll** **system & a rostering system - advantage
- Ability to work collaboratively & effectively in a team environment
- Excellent written & verbal communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to provide evidence of Covid Immunisations x3
