
Culturally Sensitive Healthcare Support Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Primary Health Care Trainee. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth and development under the supervision of experienced health professionals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, meeting and greeting clients as the first point of contact, attending to phone calls and messages in accordance with our triage process, booking appointments using our MMex system, maintaining specialist calendars, and ensuring all correspondence related to GP referrals is scanned and filed appropriately.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and have a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations. You must also identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person in accordance with s25 of the Anti-discrimination Act 1991 (Qld).
Requirements:

- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Suite Applications.
- A current and valid National Police Check.
