Job Title: Team Leader CAMHS

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of mental health professionals providing clinical services to children and young people with severe mental illness.

About the Role:
  • The Team Leader will be responsible for leading a team, overseeing day-to-day operational requirements, leadership, and management of clinical services within the Far West region.
  • They will work closely with the Deputy Director Mental Health Drug and Alcohol Services to ensure effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and develop the capability and capacity of a team, incorporating feedback through co-design processes.
  2. Develop high-level organisational skills, change management skills, and flexible work practice to meet the needs of service delivery.
  3. Demonstrate human resource management that includes performance improvement, identifying strengths of the team, and managing self in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Demonstrate knowledge of clinical governance frameworks and their application to day-to-day operations.
  5. Demonstrate behaviours that reinforce the CORE values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect, Empowerment.
