Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Medication Safety Consultant. This individual will be responsible for supporting sales teams and providing product training, clinical procedure training, and technical assistance to customers.
About the Role- This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Medication Safety Consultant.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and support to customers, helping them to achieve their goals.
- Tailor and coordinate education programs and consultation services to meet individual customer requirements.
- Engage internal and external stakeholders to deliver on plan.
- Provide management with information on market activity, competitive activity, product assessment, and industry trends.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all products and services are supported in each account.
- Maintain an accurate up-to-date CRM database of all accounts.
- Attend relevant industry trade shows, conferences, and meetings as required.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and opinion leaders.
- Liaise with Marketing and Sales Management to assist in developing and assessing product support tools and educational material.
- Assist Account Managers with learning new clinical areas and building knowledge where gaps exist.
- Work in conjunction with Account Managers and Specialists to ensure good information sharing and a team approach to addressing customer and business needs.
- Minimum 5 years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse or pharmacist in an acute care facility.
- Thorough and recent knowledge of hospital medication processes and issues associated with medication safety.
- Experience in providing adult education and training.
- High level verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong computer skills with experience in using databases and ability to interpret and maximise use of clinical data.
- Analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Effective documentation, planning, prioritisation, and organising skills.
- Ability to deal with multiple priorities and short time lines.
- Commercially aware of medication safety initiatives within the healthcare industry.
- Ability to think creatively and work laterally.
- High attention to detail.
