About the Role
The Credit Controller position at ThompsonCook is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team. As a key member of our Accounts Receivable department, you will be responsible for managing debtor accounts, working autonomously and collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues, and providing exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of debtor accounts, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of queries and disputes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address potential risks and opportunities
- Prepare and present weekly aged debtor reports to management
- Process credit applications and create customer accounts in our accounting system
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including finance teams and management
- Resolving finance queries lodged pertaining to accounts
- Manage a shared email inbox, responding to queries and escalating issues as necessary
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in credit control or a related field is essential, as is the ability to work in a global business environment.
