The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team at ThompsonCook. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing debtor accounts, preparing and allocating moneys to customer accounts, and monitoring and controlling credit hold on delinquent accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate measurement of nominated debtor accounts in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Preparing and allocation of moneys to customer accounts for daily banking.
  • Monitoring and controlling credit hold on delinquent accounts.
  • Payment arrangements from delinquent accounts.
  • Assisting the company in the timely collection of overdue accounts and assist in producing a higher level of day-to-day cash flow.
  • Liaising with bank and credit agencies.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities to promote continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Cash forecasting on a weekly basis.
  • PPSR Reporting Creditor Watch Reporting.

Requirements:

  • Background in a high volume Credit/AR position, ideally 2-3+ years' experience.
  • Experience using a large ERP system would be highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills needed to work within a professional and growing organisation.
