We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Rehabilitation Team Leader to join our dynamic team at Gorilla Jobs. As a key member of our Injury Management & Workers Compensation team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional return-to-work solutions for employees with medical conditions or injuries.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of professionals in implementing strategic initiatives to ensure quality management of services.
  • Provide regular professional supervision, feedback, and performance appraisals for staff.
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement plans that address return-to-work barriers, assisting ill or injured employees in achieving a safe and durable return to their pre-injury or new roles.
  • Maintain confidential and comprehensive injury management case notes.

Your Background:

  • Approved Qualification: Degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Counseling, Chiropractic, or Speech Pathology, with Workcover WA or Heads of Workers Compensation Authorities approval.
  • Professional Association Membership: Membership in a relevant professional association as approved by Workcover WA or Heads of Workers Compensation Authorities.
  • WA Driver's License: Valid driver's license for Western Australia.
  • Knowledge of Legislation: Familiarity with the WA Injury Management & Workers Compensation Act 2023 and Regulations 2024.
  • Experience: Minimum of six years' experience in workplace rehabilitation and experience supervising professional staff.
