About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Canva's Finance team as a Strategic Finance Analyst, Topline Forecasting. As a key member of the FP&A team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining operational and scenario models that enable Canva to plan and track its Annualised Revenue Performance.

You will work closely with Finance Business Partners and revenue-generating teams to understand performance metrics, underlying drivers, and ongoing strategic initiatives. Your expertise in operational modeling and topline forecasting will be essential in providing forecasts that feed into profitability analysis and supporting the broader FP&A team with insights and commentary on operational metrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain operational and scenario models to support Canva's revenue growth strategy
  • Work closely with Finance Business Partners and revenue-generating teams to understand performance metrics and drivers
  • Provide forecasts that feed into profitability analysis and support the broader FP&A team with insights and commentary
  • Identify potential risks to future growth and revenue early through monitoring of metrics and key performance indicators
  • Collaborate with the broader FP&A and Finance team to elevate financial excellence across Canva
Requirements
  • Experience in operational modeling and topline forecasting, preferably in the SaaS or tech industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with data structures and building intricate models
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly, with a hunger for continuous learning and professional development
