At TAL Services Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Analyst to join our Performance & Expense Management team within Finance.

As a key member of the team, you will partner with commercial teams to provide financial management support, ensuring a sustainable framework is maintained to maximise operational efficiency and value creation.

The role requires strong analytical skills, budgeting, planning, and forecasting experience, as well as excellent time management and organisational skills.

You will work closely with executives and senior leaders to influence and provide direction for the appropriate expense and financial targets and goals for TAL.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting month-end reporting, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and other processes as appropriate
  • Providing commercial insight and advisory on activities and performance using commercial information to understand relative vertical business performance
  • Supporting financial review meetings to provide analysis, identify performance drivers, risks, and opportunities, and provide strategies to mitigate risks as required
  • Contributing towards strategy formulation to deliver sustainable long-term financial performance
  • Supporting short and long-term enterprise planning, including stakeholder management during the planning cycle, coordinating inputs, and aligning vertical business lines to the long-term financial plan

Qualifications include a postgraduate qualification in finance or accounting, minimum 2 years of relevant experience within the finance/insurance industry, and relevant tertiary degrees in accounting, finance, economics/commerce, or business.
