
Organisation-Wide Injury Management Specialist

The Injury Management Lead is accountable for spearheading and planning programs that effectively allocate work injury claims and resources. They are responsible for educating and scheduling visits across the organisation, ensuring alignment with the organisation's Injury Management (IM) and Return to Work (RTW) priorities.
This role coordinates a cost-effective, equitable claims management and review of compensation service, ensuring legislative compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. The position provides leadership and expertise in developing and implementing SAPOL-wide IM framework, including innovative approaches to claims and compensation systems.
The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent. A tertiary qualification or a relevant certification such as Personal Injury Management (Return to Work) or other relevant discipline is required. Some out-of-hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required. The incumbent must participate in SAPOL's employee engagement program and abide by the standards in the Code of Ethics for the South Australian Public Sector.
