
Injury Management Specialist

The Department for Child Protection seeks a highly skilled professional to contribute to the development of an effective injury management system that meets legislative requirements and drives best practice and continual improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the implementation of strategies that support the strategic priorities of the organization, with a focus on reducing the financial and human impact of work-related injury.
- Manage workers compensation claims in accordance with legislative requirements and organizational policies.
- Assist in the development of injury management plans, programs, and strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Represent the organization on legal and compensation matters within delegation of authority, with particular respect to negotiation and representation at relevant forums and with stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, demonstrated knowledge of injury management principles, and a strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
