Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Support Specialists to provide respite services in our newly established SIL accommodations within the southeast suburbs. As a Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting participants with complex needs, fostering a therapeutic environment that promotes recovery, rejuvenation, and recalibration.
About the Role:
- You will work closely with our team to provide personalized support to participants, addressing their physical and emotional needs.
- Experience working with non-verbal clients with intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, ASD, and epilepsy is highly valued.
- Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience supporting challenging behaviors and be willing to support participants with personal care, including showering, manual handling, medications, community access, meal preparation, domestic chores, and mealtime assistance.
- A Certificate III or above in Disability Support or similar is required, along with a valid Victorian Driver's License, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid Certificate, CPR, Manual Handling certificate, Medication Administration certificate, and Victorian Working with Children's Check.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This estimate is based on industry standards and location.
