SMSF Accounting Leader

A highly skilled and experienced professional is sought after to lead the SMSF accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Australian tax law, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
The role requires expertise in managing complex financial situations, including end-of-financial-year processes, audit workflows, and quality assurance frameworks. Strong technical knowledge of SMSF regulations and accounting standards is essential.
In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will be an exceptional leader, able to motivate and guide a high-performing team across multiple locations. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, are also required.
Responsibilities include overseeing EOFY processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, driving audit efficiency, and establishing a robust quality assurance framework. The candidate will also manage ATO interactions, handle complex fund matters, and optimize workflows to maximize efficiency.
