About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to assist in the training, coaching and mentoring of junior accountants.

Key responsibilities:
  • Enter and allocate accounting transactions for self-managed super funds (SMSFs)
  • Conduct bank and investment reconciliations
  • Foster effective communication with clients via email, phone and in-person interactions
  • Purpose financial statements and tax returns for SMSFs
  • Process rollovers, contributions, pensions and lump sums for funds
  • Liaise with third-party entities such as the Australian Tax Office and financial institutions
  • Maintain accurate records, process transactions and manage systems efficiently
About you

To succeed in this position, you will require:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in SMSF accounting
  • A relevant Bachelor's degree (Commerce or similar) with a major in Accounting and CA/CPA qualification underway
  • Experience using SimpleFund 360
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A willingness to learn and adapt
  • The ability to manage competing priorities effectively
