Hotel Operations Coordinator Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Hotel Operations Coordinator to join our team at Novotel and Ibis Melbourne Central. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the guest experience and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the hotel.

About You

Our ideal candidate is a confident and customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills. You will be able to manage your time effectively, handle multiple tasks, and maintain a high level of security awareness. Your strong knowledge of the hotel and its surroundings will enable you to provide exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including leading and inspiring the team to enhance the guest experience.
  • Be proactive and resourceful in attending to guest requests and initiatives to ensure positive and productive interactions.
  • Have the necessary skills and training to actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by customers.
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to all employees, while monitoring and offering guidance during shifts.
  • Assist in all areas of the hotel during peak times to eliminate potential issues and maintain the health and safety of all patrons, guests, and staff members.
  • Be available to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
