About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Technology (OT) Security Specialist to join our team at Energy Queensland. In this role, you will be responsible for managing OT security platforms and applying your specialist knowledge in cybersecurity systems to ensure the day-to-day and tactical functions of the team are maintained.

As an OT Security Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities and threats to the operational technology within our network. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure solutions and implementing processes and procedures to ensure ongoing safety of the network.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance and be familiar with IEC 62443, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and AESCSF regulations. They will also have experience in OT cybersecurity and be able to communicate complex technical information effectively.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor Degree in IT/Cybersecurity or associated disciplines and have a strong understanding of the governance, risk, and compliance frameworks that our team operates within. Experience in OT cybersecurity is essential, as well as familiarity with IEC 62443, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and AESCSF regulations.

You will also need to be a good communicator who can produce documentation and develop necessary procedures. We are looking for someone who is passionate about cybersecurity and has a strong desire to learn and grow with our company.
