Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from $112,000 to $117,000 per annum, plus allowances and overtime, plus 14.75% superannuation. A company vehicle, top-of-the-line tools, mobile work phone and computer, high-quality PPE, and stylish uniform are also provided.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Electrical Fitter and Mechanic to join our team located in Darwin, NT. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on electricity distribution/transmission systems, including construction and maintenance of the electrical network. Knowledge of electrical metering and/or installation practices, regulations, and procedures is essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system, including construction and maintenance of the electrical network.
- Working knowledge of Electricity Act & Regulations, Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulations, and other relevant statutory acts & regulations.
- Knowledge of electrical metering and/or installation practices, regulations, and procedures.
- Well-developed interpersonal communication skills to develop good working relationships with team members and external customers.
- Ability to identify and understand customer needs.
- Current 'C' class open Drives Licence.
