Key Fitter Position

This is a hands-on role that requires experience and reliability in maintaining, repairing, and improving machinery and equipment used in the fresh produce packing industry.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Service and repair machinery and equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Monitor water treatment systems and chemical dosing processes
  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks and respond to emergency situations
  • Operate forklifts and train operators on safe operating procedures
  • Carry out general site maintenance such as grounds keeping and pest control
  • Maintain accurate records and follow safety protocols and hygiene procedures

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience, a trade qualification, skills in welding, fabrication, and mechanical systems, ability to read technical drawings and manuals, a forklift licence, and Chemical Accreditation.
